Ms. Cornelia Humphrey, 50, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Phoebe North Campus in Albany, Georgia. Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the Roselawn Memory Gardens, 2120 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Albany, Georgia. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Cornelia Juanita Humphrey was born on February 5, 1971, in Albany, Georgia to the late Bernice Humphrey and Johnny May. On April 18, 2021, she traded her walking shoes for her heavenly wings.

Ms. Cornelia confess her faith in Christ at a young age. She was a believer and memeber of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

A accomplishment of hers was going back to school to recieve her diploma at age 45, as well as being a mother, sister, and friend to many, both young and old.

Ms. Cornelia’s grandmother, mother, father, and sister preceded her in death: Ethel Mae Humphrey, Bernice Humphrey, Johnny May, and Vera Mathis. Ms. Cornelia Humphrey will live on through: her only son, Alonzo Humphrey (Marquita); eight grandchildren, Da’Quon, Kiera, Za’Riya, Jaylin, La’Niyah, Kamya, Alonzo Jr., and Zoey; four uncles, Robert, Cody, Postell, and Willie Humphrey; two aunts, Romae and Helen Humphrey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
