Mr. Ulysses Ball Sr, 66, of Montgomery, Alabama departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Albany, New York. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel at Ross-Clayton Funeral Home in Montgomery, Alabama, 1412 Adams Ave. Burial will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Second Mt. Zion Cemetery in Sasser, GA. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ulysses Ball, Sr. was born December 23, 1954 to the late Mr. Roy
Boston and Mrs. Josephine Ball Hammond. Ulysses attended Terrell
High School in Terrell County, Georgia. He grew up with close friends
Charlie C. Lumpkin and Julia Ann Wilson. Ulysses was hired by Wiley
Sanders Trucking where he spent several years Over the Road, later he
was employed by Ken Bay Trucking Company and finally with RCS
Trucking Company located Bealton, Virginia.
Ulysses Ball, Sr. departed his life on February 23, 2021. He was
preceded in death by hismother, Josephine Ball Hammond; his father,
Roy Boston; grandmother, Mrs. Pinky Lee Ball; his brother, Robert
(Buster) Ball.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted loving wife ofthirty-three
years, Mrs. Dangerine Webster Ball, Montgomery, AL; four sons
Timothy Webster, Eastsound, WA, Jeremy J. Webster, Montgomery,
AL, Ulysses D. Ball, Jr., (C.J.) Christopher A. Ball(Jasmine), Knoxville,
TN; two daughters, LaKenya W. Murrell (Titus), Montgomery, AL,
Kendra Ball, Albany,GA; six sisters, Anne Ball Loud (Michael), Barbara
Hammond, Loraine Ball, Tamanchia Moore, all of Albany, GA, Henri
Jo Ball Lawton, OK, Lapedra Singleton, California; five brothers,
Grady Ball (Maxine), Walter Hammond, both of Albany, GA, Willie
James Hammond, Dallas, TX, Earnest Dotson of Bronwood, GA, Roy
Scott, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Antwain J. Henderson,
Montgomery, AL, JaKiarah Tolliver, Montgomery, AL, Isis Webster,
Oceanside, CA, Serene Webster, Prattville, AL, Maddox and Vaughn
