Mr. Mussolini Stagger, 83, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Floral Memorial Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Rd, Albany, GA 31721. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mussolini “Brown Diamond” Stagger was born March
17, 1937 in Albany, Georgia. The son of the late
Benjamin and Mattie Stagger. He loved being a
husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, as
well as giving love to his entire family. On any given day
he always strived to teach his family greatness. Music
was key in his life, as he was known as the best disc
Jockey in Pontiac, Michigan. He was known for his strength, nurturing
personality, and no-nonsense intolerance. At the time of his passing, he
was retired from General Motors Truck and Bus in Pontiac, Michigan and
resided in Albany, Georgia.
Mr. Stagger was preceded in death by his mother: Mattie Stagger; father:
Benjamin Stagger; sister: Dorothy Sneed; and brother-in-law: John
McArthur.
Mr. Stagger leaves to cherish his memory devoted wife: Mattie Stagger;
loving child: Zeno A. Stagger; grandchildren: Zelanda (D’von) Dowell, Zeno
M. (Tameka) Stagger, Zyrus (Jessica) James; great grandchildren:
Zecarius, Zelayah, Zeydah, Zoe’, Faith, and Serenity; siblings: Grace
Jackson, Eunice McArthur, Prince Stagger; and a host of other cherished
relatives and friends.
