Mr. LeMarquis K. Davis, 36, of Albany, Georgia living in Greenville, South Carolina departed this life on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Albany, Georgia. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lemarquis Kencaide Davis was born February 16, 1984 to Edna
Canty and Walter Davis, Sr. in Albany, Georgia. Lemarquis
transitioned December 20, 2020 in Greenville, South Carolina in his
home.
Lemarquis was a gentle giant with a spirt of kindness, genuineness,
and a heart of gold. His love of life was as big as his love for fast and
flashy cars; he cherished time spent with his family and his cars.
He attended Dougherty County School System and graduated in
2003 from Monroe Comprehensive High School; he also received a
degree in Automotive Collision in 2005 from Albany Technical
College. He spent the last fourteen years as a truck driver delivering
goods, carrying his infectious smile along the way touching the lives
of all he met along the way.
Lemarquis is survived by his fiancé Shemeka Gibson; his children in
love Breanna and Brendon; his mother Edna Canty; his father
Walter Davis, Sr. (Pamela); his older brothers Walter Davis, Jr.
(Tanya) and Prince Davis (Charlena); his baby sister Quateca Davis;
his brothers in love Antwan Williams (Torrie) and Jimmy Gurley
(Cherelle); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and
other relatives and friends.
