Mr. Andy Lamar Dawson, 49, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Friday, November 27, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia 31721. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Andy Lamar Dawson was born on May 19, 1971 in
Albany, Georgia to Mrs. Ruth Ford and the late Mr.
Andrew Dawson.
He was educated in the Dougherty County School
System.
He departed this life on November 27, 2020. He was
preceded in death by his father, Andrew Dawson; a
son, Andy Barron; a sister, Amanda Dawson.
Andy leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mrs.
Ruth Ford; his stepfather, Mr. Kenneth Ford; nine
children, Andrea Barron, Aundre Bell, Antoinette
Jackson, Anquinette Jones, Andy Jones, Andrew
Jones, Adriana Jenkins, Antonio Jenkins, Aukerian
Clinton; three sisters, Andrea (Roy) May, Angela (John)
Holley, Demetrius (Regenald) Burns, all of Albany, GA,
Annette (Charles) Jenkins, Lawrenceville, GA; four
brothers, Anthony (Tasha) Dawson, Frederick Dawson,
both of Albany, GA, Wanje (Fredericka) Ford, Tampa,
FL, Kenneth Howard Ford, Greenville, SC; two cousins
raised as brothers, DeEric Williams, Virginia, Dexter
(Meesha) Williams, Hawaii; two aunts, Maxine
Williams, Edna Harris, both of Albany, GA; thirteen
grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
aunts, uncles, and many special friends.
