Mr. Lamar Daniels, 70, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in the Jordan Grove Missionary Church Cemetery, 938 Oakland Road, Leesburg, Georgia. Lamar was born on April 1, 1950 to Thaddeus and Marie Daniels in Albany, Georgia.

Lamar graduated in 1968 from Turner Job Corp in Albany, Georgia. He immediately obtained his CDL and started his career in Transportation. Most of his time was spend traveling across the country. In a recently conversation he said “I enjoyed the road and being able to travel and I stayed out there longer than I should but it was my life and I loved it!”

He was full of energy and enjoyed life. His personality was bubbly and he could easily make people laugh. He never met a stranger. Lamar would say what he meant and meant what he said but would always come back with positive reinforcement and that is what we all loved about him. He appreciate life and loved his family.

His mother, father, one brother Thaddeus M. Daniels Jr., a special niece, Monica Michelle Daniels and two grandsons Joshua Menette and Jalen Walker precede him in death. He leaves behind three sisters: Marion M. Johnson, Barbara Cole and Roberta S. Walker aka Bobby; One brother: Johnny Platt; Two sons: Alexander Stephens Sr. (Shakhela Stephens, Daughter in Law), Gregory Spann (Kimberly Fowler Spann, Daughter in Law); Four daughters: Kimberly Johnson (Calvin Johnson, Son in Law), Ivory Daniels, Vontrica Daniels and Cynthia Daniels; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends!
