Mr. Larry James Jester, 68, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Rd, Albany, GA 31721. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Larry James Jester was born April 18, 1952, in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Emanuel Willie Jester, Sr. and Willie “Lucy” Taylor.

Mr. Jester received his education in Dougherty County School System.

He enjoyed watching football. His favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. Mr. Jester also enjoyed grilling and long walks. He taught life lessons and continued to speak words of wisdom. He always was willing to extend a helping hand to everyone.

Larry departed this life on November 16, 2020 in Sylvester, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Emanuel Jester.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Willie “Lucy” Taylor; a devoted companion, Shirley Richardson; siblings, Emanuel (Shirley) Jester, Jr., Evelyn (Danny) Hayes, Cynthia (Lester, Jr.) Young, Viva Jester, Carlametress (William) Harrell, Shinelle (Eric) Henderson, Damon Jester, and Phillip (Shaniece) Favors; children, Travis (Taiice) Jester, O’Brien Jester and Shaylia (Jeristin) Jester Williams; grandchildren, Tajai Owens-Jester and Terrani Owens-Jester; great grandchild, Carter Regish.
