Mrs. Claudia Bell Little, 93, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Floral Memory Garden Cemetery, 120 Old Pretoria Rd, Albany, GA 31721. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Claudia Bell Keaton Little was born in Albany, Georgia on August 11, 1927, to late Mr. Mann Keaton and Mrs. Ethel “Koot” Wilson.

During the early years of her life, she attended the public schools of Dougherty County School System.

Throughout her childhood, Ms. Claudia was nurtured in the word of God by her loving parents and grandparents. Upon accepting Christ as her Lord and Savior, she united with the Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Sherman Jordan. She served faithfully in the Senior choir.

“Claudie Bell” as she was affectionately known, was married to the late Mr. Chandler Little. She was employed by Dixie Land Pecan House, Bobs Candy Company, Doublegate Country Club, Isabella Elementary School Cafeteria, M & M Mars and Miller Brewery.

As a family matriarch, Claudia enjoyed spending quality time with family, friends and neighbors. When fellowshipping, with family and friends, she was always the life of the party as an avid dancer. She could also bake the best pound cakes on this side of Heaven. They were always scrumptious!

On Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her daughter’s home, Claudie Bell transitioned from her labors to reward. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Ethel Wilson; father, Mann Keaton, brother, Rudolph Thomas, Sr.; brother, Jimmy Keaton; husband, Chandler Little; and son, Willard Little.

Claudia Bell leaves to cherish her love and fond memories two sons, Donnis (Barbara) Keaton, and Darnell (Lorraine) Brown; a devoted and caring daughter, Olivia Little Howard; seven grandchildren, Theresa (Ronald) Smith, Lakewood, California, Donnis (Courtney) Keaton, Jr., Ramona (Vaughn) Dorsey, Landcaster, California, Duane’ Keaton, Shreveport, Louisiana, Nakia (Derrick) Bradley, Leesburg, Georgia, LaTanya Wade, Levittown, PA, and MonTravious Howard, Kennesaw, GA.; sixteen great grands; five great-great grands; two sisters in-law Josephine Ward and Leola Moten, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her Greater Second Mt. Olive family, and friends.
