Deacon Clarence Robinson, Jr. was born on March 6, 1937 in Lee County, Georgia to late Clarence Robinson, Sr., and the late Lizzie Harvey.

Clarence gave his life to Christ at an early age. He attended Piney Grove Baptist Church as a young boy and later became a Deacon. He joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Clarence was self-employed as a Lawn Care Technician. He also started a sanitation business in 1971. He started with one truck and over time, he accumulated three more. He was a go getter, always on his grind. He decided a long time ago he was not going to be an employee. They say Clarence knew everything and he knew everybody. He would always say let me talk, let me say something. He was a very outspoken man.

In 1981, he started building their home in Albany, Georgia and moved in it in 1985.

He was joined in holy matrimony to Hazel Robinson who preceded him in death. Later, he married Linda Robinson on November 16, 2010.

Clarence departed this life on October 28, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, his sisters, Eva Carter (John), Minnie Fleming (Lewis), Annie Smith (Willie), Annie Robinson, Gloria Sweeney; brothers, Jimmie Robinson, Willie Robinson, William Robinson, Ezell Robinson, Charles Robinson; his daughter, Diane Robinson; a brother-in-law, David Wesley.

Clarence leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Linda Robinson; his children, Barbara Johnson (James), Clarence Robinson, III (Geralene), James Robinson (Jennifer), Melonese Robinson (David), Florestine Robinson Corbin (Neville), Gregory Robinson (Annie), Curtis Robinson, Jr. (Seporia),; his sister, Lizzie Wesley; his brother, James Robinson; sisters-in-law, Virginia Robinson, Essie Robinson, Luz Robinson; his grandchildren, Tonya Delaney Robinson (Daimion), Edward Robinson (Shaneka), Latasha Robinson (Devis), Nevina Robinson, Eric Robinson, Shakevia Solomon, Gregory Robinson, Tiaquana Dixon, Marcus Johnson, Clarence Robinson, IV, James Robinson, Semaj Robinson, Adam Robinson, Curtis Robinson, Jr., Anthony Robinson; stepchildren, Darrell Jackson, Vernon Jackson (Catherine), Lakeysia McGill (Christopher) and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
