Mrs. Olean Speed, 81, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the 2nd Kiokee Baptist Church Cemetery, Arlington, Georgia at the intersection of Nicklesville Road & Highway 216. Mrs. Olean Rainey Speed is the daughter of Mr. Willie Rainey and Mrs. Angeline Hall Rainey was born August 14, 1932. She was one of twelve children.

Olean was educated in Calhoun County, Georgia School System in Arlington, Georgia.

She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church of Lakeland, Florida.

Olean was joined in holy matrimony to Charles Speed, Sr. She departed this life on October 25, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; three sisters, Curlila, Corine, and Fannie; one brother, Willie Rainey, Jr.

Olean leaves to cherish her loving memories one daughter, Annie Lee Henry, Albany, GA; three sons, Charles Speed, Jr., Tampa, FL, Horace Speed, Atlanta, GA, Michael Speed, Charlotte, NC; five sisters, Pearlie Randle, Majorie Bellamy, both of Arlington, GA, Elaine Reed, Lakeland, FL, Mae Monford (Henry), Atlanta, GA, Angereen Rainey, Albany, GA; two brothers, Joseph Rainey and Estron Rainey, both of Arlington, GA; thirteen grandchildren; twenty - eight great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
