Mother Daisy Williams, 93, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Friday, October 2, 2020 at her residence in Albany, Georgia. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Riverside Cemetery, 200 Cotton Ave, Albany, Georgia. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Daisy Williams was born December 31, 1926 in Bronwood Georgia to the late Felix and Viola Williams.

Educated in the public school systems of Terrell County. Daisy love the Lord and truly believe in his word. She joined the church and was received and accepted to Christ at an early age at I hope Baptist Church , Terrell County.

In 1962 Daisy & the late Mr. Eddie Carter, her life companion, relocated to Albany Georgia. Her professional endeavors were cook, caregiver, housekeeper and production worker. In the 1970s she started working at M&M Mars Candy Company, she worked there until retiring in 1998. Her favorite hobbies including spending time with her family, traveling, fishing and shopping.

On Monday, October 2, 2020 Daisy departed this earthly life. As a family, we are confident knowing her life was a blessing and she will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Daisy was the mother of five children, one daughter preceded her in death; Betty Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two Sons: J.C. Williams and Tommy Williams. Two daughters; Arwena Jones and Eddie Dean (Lloyd J) Brown. Nine Grandchildren: Joanne, Jason, Reshema, Joel, J.C., Javanese, Xavier, Lloyd and Jeremiah. Three great grandchildren; Alexis, Brandon and Justin. Survive by a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

    One of my first memories was of Aunt Daisy giving me and my brother a piece of gum or candy which she always seemed to have in those days. I will always remember her smile.
