MR. JAMES EDWARD FRAZIER

Mr. James Edward “Chocolate” Frazier was the son of Harrison J. Frazier and Billie Faye Coleman.  He was born on January 27, 1974 and he entered into eternity on May 3, 2020.

James loved his family.  He was very proud of his daughters, Jasmine and Jesharelah and his twin, Javonte “Tyree.”  His heart was taken over by his granddaughter, Arielle “Ladybug” Barrett.  He was a great son to his parents, a great brother to his siblings and in-laws, a great support for many of his nieces and nephews but his world revolved around his lady, his partner, his wife, Demetrica “Meet” Frazier.

James was a member of Christ Bible Discipleship Worship Center for more than 20 years.

James was known as a regular griller.  He would always be found on a grill somewhere.  He loved cooking for his family and friends.  He also loved the Carolina Panthers and was often tailgating at their games.  He was also a huge Duke fan and would challenge anyone on their games.

James worked for CSX Intermodal for the last 12 years.  He worked as a ISR (Intermodal Service Rep) and Senior Union Rep.  Before CSX, he helped to build many of the standing buildings and houses around North Carolina as a Foreman with McGee Brothers for 15 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Demetrica Burns Frazier.  His children: Jasmine L. Frazier, Javonte T. Frazier and Jesharelah S. Frazier.  His granddaughter, Arielle J. Barrett.  His maternal grandmother, Ruthie Mae Stafford.  His parents:  Harrison (Karen) Frazier and Billie Faye (Rueben) Coleman.  His siblings: Harrison Jr. (April) Frazier, Lewis (Angela) Frazier, Shaunta (Charles) Simpson, Cederick (Keisha) Cuthbertson, Dreamer Frazier and one step-sister, Kayla (Chris) Carpenter.  In-laws: John (Denise) Burns, Tisha (Ronald) Marshall, Trisha Burns, Angela (Tyrone) Sloan, Dennis Crowder, Harold (Denise) Crowder, Gloria (Chris) Tyson, Chris (Mary) Crowder and Denise (Donald) Williams.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Eulogistic Services will be on Saturday, May 9, 2020, 4:00pm, Christ Bible Discipleship Worship Center, 1019 Unarco Road, Marshville, North Carolina.  Burial will follow in the family plot of the church cemetery.

The Frazier Family will greet family and friends during the viewing on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina, on Saturday, May 9, 2020 from 3:30-4:00pm at Christ Bible Discipleship Worship Center and at all other times at the residence.

In light of the public gathering restrictions issued by the State of North Carolina relating to COVID-19, only a limited number of family members will be allowed to attend the service.
