Mr. Curtis Van Randle, 62, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Monday, April 6, 2020 at Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 20, 2020 at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery, 120 Old Pretoria Road in Albany, Georgia. Funeral will be attended by immediate family ONLY. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Curtis Randle was born in Albany, Georgia on May 1, 1957 to Mrs. Christine Randle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Randle and brother, Emory Randle. Curtis was educated in the public- school system of Dougherty County, Georgia. He graduated from Westover High School in the Class of 1975. Curtis believed strongly in loyalty and commitment to his country. Upon heeding the call to military duty, he enlisted in the United States Army. Curtis served faithfully for ever twenty years in the US Army, retiring at the rank of sergeant. Curtis was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church where he served on the usher board. He was a dedicated member of the POST 512. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Glory Hammond Randle; four stepsons, Tray Hammond, Montreal and Letreal Watson, Eddie Milledge, Jr.; four sisters, Shirley and Krista Randle, Albany, GA, Rose (Harris) Whitaker, Enterprise, AL, Regina (Henry) Jones, Macon, GA; one brother, Gary (Lolita) Randle, Albany, GA; three Godbrothers, Eddie Swan, Alphonsa Green, and John Mathis; fifteen grandchildren whom he loved dearly, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
