Mr. William Terry Forte, lovingly called “Terry” by his family and friends, was born on July 23, 1969 in Chesterfield, South Carolina to William and Annie Forte.  He departed this life on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Atrium Health-Anson, Wadesboro, NC.

William attended the public schools of Anson County and was a 1987 graduate of Anson Senior High School.  He participated in many sports and excelled in wrestling.

He was a great father and grandfather.   Terry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed socializing at various stores in Anson County.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and faithful parents, Mr. William and Mrs. Annie Forte of the home; two daughters, Ahsheka Hudson (Maurice) and Kyana Deese Hudson (Michael); four grandchildren, Kamylah Taylor, Makiyah Taylor, Omari Taylor and Zyire Taylor; one brother, Bobby Forte (Sudonna); one niece, Cindy Forte.

His aunts, Kennice of Raleigh, NC; Bessie (Willie) of Lilesville, NC; Denise of Wingate, NC; Rosa Lee of Wadesboro, NC; Diane of Monroe, NC; Pamela (Harlie) of Wadesboro, NC; Johnsie of Wadesboro, Ida Mae, Carrie (Teddy) and Mae Francis all of New York and Fairly Lee of Wadesboro, NC.  His uncles, Eddie, James (Gloria) and Clarence (Clintona). Six uncles preceded him in death. 

A loving and devoted best friend, Toforya Hailey (Curtis); one special cousin, Tamela Forte and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, 12:30pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadewsboro, North Carolina.  Interment will be in Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Wadesboro, North Carolina.

The public viewing for Mr. Forte will be on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 from 4:00-5:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel.

The Forte Family will greet family and friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 from 12:00-12:30pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at the residence.
