Mother Bernice Milliner, 86, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation, Albany, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. from the Green Grove Baptist Church, 145 Rhodes Street, Smithville, Georgia.  Rev. Hosie Waters is the pastor and will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bernice Berryhill Milliner was born August 23, 1933, in Smithville, GA, to the late James Berryhill and Versaree Jones Berryhill. At an early age, she joined Green Grove Baptist Church in Smithville, GA. She was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Charlie Clarence Milliner in 1955. She moved to Jacksonville, FL, where she joined St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ernie Murray, and upon moving back to Georgia, she rejoined Green Grove under the leadership of Rev. Hosie Waters.Bernice departed this earthly life on March 8, 2020, at the Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation Center.She leaves to cherish fond memories: two sisters, Mildred Berryhill and Dorothy (Richard) Mims of Albany, GA; several nieces and nephews including one nephew who was like a son, Jody Berryhill, and one niece who was like a daughter, Sharryl Turner of North Augusta, SC; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

    Auntie you will always be my great great auntie, for now and ever after.. I love you so so much, you have your loved ones down here upset, I will always always remember you and your positive attitude and I love you so very much auntie, I know you are happy and because of that, I’m happy.. I miss you so much and i know you and my uncle are up there in heaven dancing and having a good time, just like you were keeping my uncle happy I know he’s really happy now, he’s got his wife and you got your husband... you’re with who always have made you happy and he’s with who always made him happy, because of that I’m happy... please never ever ever ever forget about me and who I am, I will always love my aunt Bernice, you and how positive you always were ❤️ I hope you are happy where you are now, you are with your mom and husband, enjoy yourself now auntie.. remember I will always always always love my aunt Bernice ❤️ 4 now and ever after, I will b always remember how before you left us down here, me and my grandma visited you in the hospital and you were telling me who I was and how you remembered me, I can’t believe you are no longer with us but you are now where you belong and for that I am now and always will be happy happy happy happy for you and with you auntie, I know you are happy, you are with your mom and husband and you belong in heaven happy rather than a hospital, I love you and don’t forget that ❤️❤️❤️❤️ You know you did something with this one auntie 💔 you are where you belong like I’ve said, I know you and my uncle are happy to see and be with one another again, I love each one of you very very much, I’m really taking this one to the heart, the both of y’all have really really been on my mind a lot lot lately, I know y’all are happy together now, enjoy yourself
