Adaya Bates was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Manesha Santriss Bates on January 2, 2020, and made her glorious transition from this life to forever be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 6, 2020 while at home with her beloved mother, Manesha Bates, her two sisters, Amira Luv Lawrence and Abbie Mashay Bates, and brother, Ashton Cy Bates, .

Some people only dream of angels, Almighty God richly blessed Manesha Bates and her entire family and friends with one. This incredible gift from God changed our whole life. God allowed her to be with us for thirty-six days before He received her back into His bosom.

 Adaya Bates was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Jim Robinson; great grandparents, Earline Godfrey and Gloria Jean Bates; and her amazing aunt, Timmantha S. Robinson. 

Oh  how Adaya loved her mother, Manesha,; sisters, Amira and Abbie; brother, Ashton; uncles, Alexander Robinson and Frankie Bates, Jr.; grandparents, Frankie and Samantha Bates.She is survived by her beloved mother, Manesha Bates; her two wonderful sisters, Amira Luv Lawrence, Abbie Mashay Bates; her wonderful brother, Ashton Cy Bates; her precious uncles,   Alexander Robinson and Frankie Bates, Jr.; amazing grandparents, Frankie and Samantha Bates; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Great Commission Church Of God In Christ, 715 Dodds Avenue, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon.  Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
