Genett Morris, 85, passed away January 28, 2020. She was a member of New Vernon Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Ann (Lydell) Lovelace, Gwendolyn Chandler, and Vanessa (Terrance) Walker; sons, Robert (Angel) Morris of Cincinnati, Ohio, William Morris; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing will begin at 12 noon Thursday, February 6, 2020 with family visitation from 6 – 8 pm in the chapel. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, February 7th at New Vernon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Harris Toney officiating.  Interment:  Lakewood Memory Gardens-East
