Charlotte Alderson, 76, was born on January 2, 1944. On January 19, 2020 she was called home to join the Angels. She will forever be loved and remembered by her family and friends.  She was a dedicated employee of Coca Cola Bottling Company where she retired after 20 years of service.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geneva Feathersone; Her loving husband, Leroy Alderson; 5 sisters, Claudette Featherstone, Dora Brown, Clarice "Nunnie" Young, Jeanette Hughley and Delores Featherstone; 3 brothers, Walter "Spookie" Featherstone, James "Boy" Featherstone and Nathaniel "NIP" Featherstone. Her loving survivors includes, her daughter, Debra Bennett, her son Richard (Jessica) Bennett; 4 grandchildren,Quinton Bennett, Desmond Benford, Jireh Bennett and Kevin Bennett; 7 great grandchildren; sister Fannie Cartwright of Detroit; sister n law Christine Featherstone of Virginia ; 2 brothers, Sterling Featherstone and Stanley (Robbie) Featherstone and a host of other relatives and friends.  Public viewing will begin after 12 noon Tuesday, January 28 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 29 in the chapel. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery. Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995
