Dear Family, Uncle Melvin has left another void in my life as well as our family. I know and I hope you know how much the lord loves him. For he shared him with us for 88 years, and that was a blessing. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, kind, and fun Uncle. I have only fond memories to cherish when I think of him. I know Aunt Belinda, Aunt Clara, Aunt Clyde, Mama and Daddy and all of his other family and friends are happy to have his spirit with them in heaven. I love you family and never forget it!!

I often greeted him calling him " Dad", after losing my own at 15. Tearing up at our last conversation; mentor ,teacher, friend and father about to transition will change more than just my life. His strong desire to learn and teach the uneducated children of his peers; brought him " Joy and Pain'. Our love; (" BTW Dream Class of 69") is extended to his loving family. As his spirit speaks to me; open up and feel his presents. For he shall never leave you or me in his new life.
