James Primrose Fenner, Jr., 64,  a native of Havelock died Monday, December 23, 2019 at Treyburn Rehabilitation Center, Durham.

Family and friends may express condolences between the hours of 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 518 Jimmies Creek Drive, New Bern.

His funeral service is 1:00 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel 1700 Oscar Drive.  The entombment will follow at the Charlie Lee Godette Cemetery, Hodge Rd. Havelock.

He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Fenner, New Bern; two sons, Kenyattin Fenner and James Primrose Fenner, II both of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Angele Fenner, Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Dr. Douglas Fenner, San Diego, CA and Waldo Fenner, Durham, NC; four sisters, Marion Murrell, Havelock, NC, Lillie Fenner, Englewood Cliff, NJ, Wanda Lorenzo, Tenafly, NJ and Valerie Huskey, New Bern; one grandchild.

    The Fenner Family is in our thoughts and prayers. Mr. Fenner was roommate with our uncle at Treyburn Rehab Center for many years. We thought of him as family and he enjoyed talking with us as we visit Treyburn. We will miss him.
