Starkima Lavasha Townsend, 35, of 211 Wyndsor Park, New Bern died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at the residence.  Viewing hours are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday at Oscar's Mortuary.

Her funeral service is 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at United Worship Center 907 Main St.  The interment will follow in New Bern Memorial Cemetery

She is survived by her children, Kenydric Jamar Scott-Townsend and Janasiarenee Kimayah Townsend both of the home;
her mother, Renee Morris of New Bern; two sisters Ronshea and Lenea Morris of New Bern.

    I'm so sorry to hear about starkima,she was one of my favorite cousin,I love her dearly,never forget she took me and my mother to kinston and we hung out and had a bless time,may YAH,bless Mrs Renee and the family at this difficult time,I know she's in a better place,she was such a nice person and cousin.Rip.
