Oakrie Junior Jordan, 66, of U-169 Craven Terrace died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at his residence.

Family and friends may express condolences at the residence.

His funeral service is 11:00 AM , Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at First Missionary Baptist Church  819 Cypress St.  The interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville.

He is survived by his fiance', Gerri Taylor of New Bern; a devoted mother, Mary Sampson Jordan Koonce of New Bern; two sons, Oakrie Jordan, Atlanta, GA and Cameron J., Best of New Bern; three daughters,Jacqueline Simmons of New Bern, Stacy J. Duarte of Alpharetta, GA and Isabelle B. Moore of New Bern;  brothers, Michael Jordan of Winterville,NC<  Phillip White, Lithonia, GA,  William Robinson, New Bern  and Clarence Robinson, New York; sisters, Cynthia J. Beasley of Havelock NC, Vivian Grant of Charlotte, NC,  Ophrah Yeates, Brenda Whitehurst and Teresa Allen all of New Bern; fifteen grandchildren.
