Dr. C. W. "Dean" Grant, 88, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 901 S. Westover Blvd., Albany, Georgia. Dr. Daniel Simmons is the pastor and Dr. Theodus Drake, Jr. will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia. His remains will lie in state at the church Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1510 Lily Pond Road, Albany, Georgia.

The Family Request donations to The Boy's Club of Albany in lieu of flowers.


Visitation is Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The times are as follows:

9:00 AM - 4:30 PM  Public viewing
5:00 PM - 5:30 PM  Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Ceremony
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM  Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Ceremony
7:15 PM - 9:00 PM  Public viewing
