Mickey Watts was born on April 7, 1958 to the late Clee Watts Sr. and Beulah Mae Watts. He departed this life at his residence on September 19, 2019 in Concord, North Carolina.

Mickey attended Bowman High School where he graduated in 1976.

Mickey began his work career as a State Employee with the Department of Transportation, following a career at Bloomsburg Mill as a Machine Operator in Monroe, North Carolina. He chose different paths along the way that led to his final employment with Harrisburg Security as a Security Officer.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clee Watts Sr. and Beulah Mae Watts; brother, Clee Watts Jr.; sister, Eula S. Leak (Jimmy) and sister, Wanda Lockhart (Roy).

He leaves to cherish his fond memories to his sister, Phyllis Watts Peguese of Charlotte, North Carolina and longtime girlfriend, Viline Burch of Concord, North Carolina; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many life-long friends. 

The Homegoing Services were held at 11:00am, Friday, September 27, 2019 at Smith Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment is private.
