Deacon Jessie Caldwell, 96, died Friday, September 13, 2019 at Regency Hospital of Florence, SC. He was born March 15, 1923 in Summerton, SC, a son of the late Eliza Caldwell Davis.

Funeral services for Deacon Caldwell will be held 11:00AM Friday, September 20, 2019 at Gum Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Silver Community, Pinewood, SC.  Rev. Dr. Ollie J. Hannah, presiding; Rev. Michael W. Collins, Pastor, officiating; Rev. Ranzy McFadden, Jr., Rev. Dr. Mitchell Adger and Rev. George P. Windley, Sr., assisting.  Burial will follow in the the church yard cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the residence, 333 W. Huggins St., Manning, SC.
