Mother Emma Mae Jones, 98, departed this life Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, Americus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from the New Zion Hill Baptist Church, 260 West Allen Street, Leslie, Georgia. Rev. James Hill is the pastor and Rev. Anthony Walker will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. The family will receive relatives and friends at 123 Still Quarter Street, Leslie, Georgia.. Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
