Charlotte Keelin Jordan, Age 110 passed away August 5th, 2019. Born and raised in the St. Elmo section of Chattanooga, Mrs. Jordan graduated from Howard High School and A&I State College in Nashville (now Tennessee State University) with a degree in elementary education.  She was a committed member of Fields Chapel AME Zion Church for many years and served in numerous capacities. Mrs. Jordan taught in the Hamilton County School System for 45 years; seven at Harrison elementary, thirty at Summit elementary and eight at Ooltewah elementary. 

Charlotte lives on in her daughter Norma (Thomas) Roland, grandsons Bobby (Kelly) Brooks, Thomas (Ali) Roland and two great-grandchildren Axl and Asa Roland; Nieces, Peggy Adams and Sandra Turner; Lynn Stanton,  James and Marsha Hayes, Adrienne Cross, Banks Roland, Wilma Taylor and other great nieces, great nephews and faithful friends.  Visitation will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, Augus 10, 2019 at the funeral home.     Homegoing services will begin at 11:00 am in the chapel of John P Franklin Funeral Home. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
