Mrs. Gloria Gosier, 76
On Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 Gloria Ann Hawkins-Gosier, loving wife, mother and daughter passed away. Gloria was born on May 21, 1943 in Tallahassee, FL to Geneva Grey.

Gloria received her bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA while working full-time as a medical technologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital (formerly the Boston Lying-In). She was employed there for more than 40 years until she retired as head laboratory supervisor of the Hematology department in December 2012. On March 19, 1977, Gloria married the lover of her life, Larry Tyrone Gosier. She was an accomplished classical pianist. During her life, she traveled to Kenya, India, The Philippines, Germany and India just to name a few. 

Gloria is survived by her mother, Geneva Grey (Boston, GA); her loving husband, Larry Tyrone Gosier (Boston, GA); her adoring children, Tiffany Hawkins Gosier (Roxbury, MA) and Timothy Benjamin Gosier (Roxbury, MA); sister-in-law, Cynthia Huewitt, brother-in-law, Pastor James "Bud" Huewitt and a host of loved ones and friends.

Funeral services were Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Simmon Hill MB Church in Dixie, GA with Bro. Edward Coffey officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Condolences may be made at  Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
