Frances Gore Hayes, 95, of St. Augustine was born June 24, 1924 to the late Charlie Gore. She was educated him to St. John’s County School District. She worked many years for the Flagler Hospital. Mother Hayes was a life-long member of New Mount Moriah Christian Center where she later become the mother of the New Mount Moriah Ministry.  She was often known to many by her stern-smile and hand of support.   Mother Hayes was a pillar in her community and would often express love to everyone she would meet.

Frances Hayes is preceded in death by her son, James Bass; sister, Clare Holmes and her godson, Everette Morgan.

Frances Hayes leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Lillie Fannie, Mary (Willie) James, Sr. and Virginia Haynes; grandchildren: Rodney Bass, Joseph and Tonya Bass, Christopher and Lisa Bass, Loteshia Peugse, Erica Mack, Willie, Jr. and LaTashia James, Erik and Leigh James, Andre and Felicia Brown, Shauna Finnie, Ellis and Dianne Lamons, Carleatha Cole, Tammara Bradley, Monique Manick and Elon Manick; godchildren: Sheila Stafford, Reverend Marshall Burns and Pastor E. C. Washington. 

The Homegoing Celebration will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at New Mt. Moriah Ministry, Rev. Ronald Stafford, Pastor and eulogist.  The viewing will be 6:00p,m, - 7:00p,m, Friday, August 2, 2019 at New Mt. Moriah Ministry.  The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine, FL.
