James Edward Teal was born on August 14, 1957 in McBee, South Carolina to Ollie Teal and the late James Daniel Dawson.  On Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Anson Health and Rehabilitation in Wadesboro, North Carolina, James departed this earth to be present with the Lord.

James accepted Christ at an early age as his Lord and Savior.  He attended the public schools of Anson County.  James was employed at Tyson Foods of Monroe, North Carolina until his health failed.

James was full of life, enjoyed gathering with his family and friends.  He loved his football team: The Dallas Cowboys!  He loved his family. 

James was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Teal.

James leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Ollie Teal of Baltimore, Maryland.  His two aunts, Dorothy Teal and Raynette Teal both of Baltimore, Maryland.  His eight sisters, Mamie Teal, Brenda Teal, Chery Teal and Catherine Burch (James) all of the home, Dorothy Demory (Rosevelt) of Pikesville, Maryland, Phyllis Phillips (Sammie) Retha Robinson (Rev. Don Sr.) and Mary Jefferson of McBee, South Carolina.  Three brothers, Arriak Teal of the home, James Dawson (Nancy) of Lexington, South Carolina and Donald Dawson (Doretha) of McBee, South Carolina. His buddies, Carolyn Teal, Debra Teal and Deerica Teal.  His Tyson Family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Services were held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.  Burial  followed in Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
