Funeral services for Ms. Dominique C. Stevenson, 26, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. L. L Jacobs is the pastor. Pastor George Adams will be the eulogist. Interment will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019.

On Tuesday, August 11, 1992, Moses Stevenson, Jr. and Mary Louise Adams Stevenson welcomed a baby girl into the world in Talladega, Alabama. Because of their love and faith in God they named her Dominique Christina Stevenson, Dominique meaning “belonging to God”.

Ms. Stevenson committed her life to Christ and worshipped under the leadership of her uncle, Pastor George Adams at Rest in the Lord Ministries. She was a graduate of Talladega High School and continued her education at Central Alabama Community College. Dominique was currently employed at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama with Road and Rail Services.

On Friday, July 19, 2019, Dominique’s sweet spirit began her rest in the arms of the Lord along with her son, Kylan Blaise Dorman. She was preceded in passing by her grandfathers, Link Adams, Jr. and Moses Stevenson, Sr.; and an uncle, Steve Lawrence Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her three children, Logan M. Stevenson, Harlyn B. Dorman and Iyanna S. Stevenson of Talladega, Alabama; parents, Mary L. Stevenson and Moses (Angela) Stevenson, Jr. of Talladega, Alabama; grandmothers, Julia Irene Adams and Otha Nell Stevenson of Talladega, Alabama; two sisters, Ashley (Larry) Estell-Atkinson and Shanara Stevenson of Talladega, Alabama; two brothers, Demetrius Q. (Bernice) Adams of Anniston, Alabama and Destine J. Estell of Talladega, Alabama; seven aunts, Nellie (Ervin) Swain, Julia (Harrell) Herring, Elizabeth (Willie) Garrett, Carolyn (James) Tandy of Talladega, Alabama, Angela (Patrick) Ashley of Lincoln, Alabama, LaTonya (LeTrek) Beavers and Audrey Stevenson of Talladega, Alabama; four uncles, Pastor George (Diann) Adams and Henry (Sunette) Adams of Talladega, Alabama, Michael Adams (Tina Curry) of Montgomery, Alabama and Jonathan Adams of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
