TORRANCE CLIFTON MONROE JR. (T.C.) was born in Richmond County, North Carolina on April 21, 1996 to the late Torrance Borgor Monroe Sr. and Tiffany Lynette Caraway.  Torrance (T.C.) departed this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Torrance (T.C.) was a member of The Temple of Truth Life Changing Ministries in Morven, North Carolina.  He was employed by Edwards Wood Products in Marshville, North Carolina.  Torrance (T.C.) enjoyed participating in basketball and wrestling in high school.  He was a lover of music and he loved to sing.

In addition to his father, Torrance (T.C.) was preceded in death by his sister, Shunta Denise Caraway; great grandparents, John Clifton and Annie Monroe; Edward and Henrietta Caraway; Benjamin and Itessie Robinson; and an aunt, Rhonda Renee Caraway.

Torrance (T.C.) leaves to cherish his mother, Tiffany L. Caraway of Wadesboro, North Carolina; brother, Monte’ Caraway of Lilesville, North Carolina; sister, Asia Monroe of Norwood, North Carolina; maternal grandparents, Rev. Thomas “Bill” and Ida Caraway of Wadesboro, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Jacob and Shirley Story of Tucker, Georgia; one uncle, John Clifton Monroe Jr. of Raeford, North Carolina and one aunt, Camellia Caraway Little (Derrick) of Wadesboro, North Carolina; three nephews, Jaquavius Caraway, Zayden Caraway and Gage Richardson; three nieces, Kanyah Caraway, Angel Caraway and AhLyah Caraway.  A host of great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, July 14, 2019, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.  Burial will follow at Ingram Revival Center, Morven, North Carolina.

The Caraway and Monroe Families will greet family and friends on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1:30-2:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
