Ann was born on February 18, 1950 in Gastonia, North Carolina.  Ann Departed this life Monday, July 1, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Hospital, Gaston County.

Ann the daughter of the late Euless Ray and Leola Brannon Floyd.  She was the eldest of two sisters and three brothers and one beloved cousin, Kansas Murray Hill (Jerry) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Jerry R. Floyd (Vida) of San Antonio, Texas, Arnold L. Floyd (Teena) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Brenda Floyd Caroll (Furman) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Steven A. Floyd (deceased), and a beloved cousin Melvin Eskew (deceased).

Ann attended Highland High School here in Gastonia.  During her formative and young adult years, she was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church was she was a member of the Young Adult Choir.

Ann lived in Charlotte for 40 years.  There she and Randolph Johnson was married in 1978, a union that would last for 17 years.  Randolph passed in 1995. 

Ann made lifelong friends.  She worked at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in the Central Service Department.  She became a member of the University Park Baptist Church.  She was a member of the popular University Park Baptist Church Choir and served on the Missionary Board.

Ann moved back to Gastonia and became an active member of   Tabernacle Baptist Church.  She enjoyed attending Bible Study, Sunday School, Sunday morning service, the Golden Years Seniors Ministry, and she was also a proud member of the Erwin Center Senior Citizen Club.

Ann leaves to cherish precious memories:  four daughters and one son; Valerial Ann Jackson (Charlotte), Leslie M. Jackson Newson (Ernest) of Dallas, Texas, Pamela M. Jackson Huffin (Charlotte), Rudy Francisco Jackson Jr. (Raleigh) Mary Ann Stinson (Glover) of Charlotte, NC.  She is survived by a host of grandchildren (8), and great grandchildren (2), and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral: Sunday; July 7, 2019; 1:30p.m.; Tabernacle Baptist Church, 519 W 19th Ave, Gastonia

Visitation: thirty minutes before service at the church

Interment: Trinity Unity AME Zion Church Cemetery, Gastonia
