Deborah Gregory Hale, 66, passed away June 19, 2019. She was a graduate of Howard High School Class of 1970 and UT Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She worked over 35 years at Southside and Dodson Health Centers. She retired from the Veterans Administration. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Hale III; daughter, Lisa Gregory; two grandchildren, Kiara Currie and Deja’ Martin; sisters, Louise Idlette and Donna Stone; a host of other family and friends. The body will lie in state after 12 noon on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 2:00 pm at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Highway 153 Chattanooga 37343 with Bro. Henry Lee officiating. Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
