Mrs. Katherine D. White, 82, of Prentiss, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Asbury Hospice House, Hattiesburg, Mississipppi.  She is the daughter of the late Rufus and Nercelia Dillon.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel M. B. Church where she served as the Assistant Financial Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, and served on the Dining Committee and BTU.  She was a member of the Eureka Arts Club.

She was a retired Home Economics Teacher who loved cooking, sewing, flowering and fellowship with family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Mt. Carmel M. B. Church at 11am.  Interment will be in Griffith Cemetery.  

She is survived by: husband, Rufus White of Prentiss, MS; daughter, Tunga Otis of Prentiss, MS; brother, Will Youngblood of Angie, LA; sisters, Irene Magee of Tylertown, MS and Etta Bell of Hattiesburg, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-8pm.
