Kacie Noel Welty, 46, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico entered in to rest on June 1, 2019 in Truth or Consequences. She was born on September 9, 1972 in Santa Fe, NM to Si Benjamin and Irene Bunch.
Kacie attended school in Truth or Consequences and graduated from Magdalena High School. She was an excellent athlete and played volleyball, basketball, and track. She attended NM Highlands University where she got a volleyball scholarship. In 1997 she and Doug Welty were married and in October they had their first son Darin. In 2002 they had their second son, Dylin.
Kacie had many passions, among them were woodworking, exploring and looking for pottery, and driving her Jeep, and a cold Corona with salt and lime.
Most of all, though, she loved anything that involved her two sons’ whether it was sports, rodeo, or just watching them experience life and spending time with them. She was their biggest fan and loudest cheerleader, and of course, Abbi was always close by.
Kacie was known for her beautiful smile, sense of adventure, carefree spirit and ability to light up a room. She encouraged those around her to be bold and live life with bling and style.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Bunch; Grandmother, Nada Bunch; Grandparents, Tom and Nannie Jo Bunch; brother, Clint Benjamin; and Hersel and Irene Welty.
