I am sorry to read about your loss. May God’s words in the Bible at Ps 34:18 provide you comfort. The scriptures tells us “HE” is near to those broken at heart, and those crushed in spirit HE saves.

We are saddened to know you are grieving the recent loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in the words found in Psalms 34:18 which reads: “ Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15 Isaiah 55;11). See and imagine yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

Dear Evelyn and family, After hearing of Shaun’s passing it caused to me reflect on the kindnesses and inspiration that he so willingly extended to all. When stationed at Fort Drum, I had decided to play soccer for the Fort Drum Mountain Lions and that is where I first met “Coach” as he insisted that he be addressed. Despite the fact that I was not as skilled as my teammates he included and encouraged me as he did all other members of the Lions. After each soccer season he would have ceremonies where we could bring our family and friends and he would give out awards to everyone. My first season we didn’t win but the following year we won the championship outdoor league! To be a part of team representing Fort Drum that Coach brought together was an experience of lifetime and one that I will never forget. Coach was not only a person who knew how to bring people together, he was a mentor to me always advising me of the need to stay focused on my goals, to always keep believing in myself and to share those attributes by giving back to the community. My condolences to you and your family for your loss. My encounter with Coach was brief however I am grateful for the guidance that he so freely gave and I will remember them always. Jackie Pfeiffer
