Marcus L. Mitchell, 29, of Daytona Beach, FL was born on the 13th day of June in the year of 1989 to Lamar Culpepper and Sharon Boyd.  He was affectionately known as “Mick” throughout the cities of Daytona Beach, Bunnell, and Palm Coast.  Mick was a member of New Hope Holiness Church in Bunnell under the leadership of his grandmother, Overseer Pauline Mitchell.  Marcus enjoyed laughing, showing his bright smile, and spending time with his family.  He loved spending time with his friends, and most of all; his son, Lil' Marcus, who meant the world to him. Marcus was an amazing football player, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, walking his dogs, working out, and dancing.  Mick was a member of Down and Dirty Motorcycle Club of Daytona Beach, Smokin Aces Football Team, and Flight Risk Football League. 

He leaves to cherish his lively spirit : His loving mother,  Sharon Boyd; step-father, Burdis Boyd of Palm Coast, Florida; father, Lamar Culpepper, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; son: Marcus Mitchell, Jr. of Palm Coast, Florida; Godparents, Brenda and Joel Seivwright of Daytona Beach, Florida; maternal grandmother, Overseer Pauline Mitchell, paternal grandparents, Veronica Butler of Atlanta, GA, and Lamar Culpepper, III, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; siblings: Courtney Mitchell of South Carolina; Terrance Mitchell of Atlanta, Georgia; Ciara Riddle of Katy, Texas; Mauriel Gibson of Orlando, Florida; Lamar Butler of Daytona Beach, Florida; Mikhai Culpepper of Atlanta, Georgia, Mia Culpepper of Atlanta, Georgia, he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

The viewing will be Friday, June 7, 2019 from  5:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. at New Hope Holiness Church, Overseer Pauline Mitchell, Pastor.  The Homegoing Celebration will be 3:00p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Madison Heights Church of God in Christ, Elder Max Hawkins, Pastor.  Apostle Quinton L. Dames, eulogist.  The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Daytona Beach.
