I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Evans family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience that leaves us with feelings of sorrow and grief. However, know that God is going to replace your sadness with joy and a hope for the future. How? Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces." So here Jehovah God has promised that He will eliminate death forever, wiping away the tears that come from losing the ones we love. Furthermore, God has given us the hope of the resurrection, which can mean being reunited with our dear loved ones, once again on a Paradise earth. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4) If you would like more Bible-based information about the resurrection hope, please visit our website at jw.org.

To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. The death of a loved one in death brings tears and pain. It is comforting to know that the Bible at John 5:28,29 promise that our loved ones who have died can live again by means of the Resurrection. Also Isaiah 26:19 says "Your dead will live...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life". What a wonderful of seeing our loved ones again! Our deepest condolences to all the love ones of the dearly departed. The words found at 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4 were especially comforting to our family during the loss of our parents and dear loved ones. It says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God." May these words strengthen you too.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Death is truly an enemy and soon Jehovah God will eliminate it permanently and resurrect those lost in death. In fact, he yearns to do so. It is his promise and he cannot lie. May his promise bring you comfort. (Job 14:14,15)

To the family of Mr. Willie Frank Evans … So sorry for your loss. Your loved-one was a very special person, a true friend to us. We met Willie some 40 years ago… a very giving and respectful person. He lived the scripture "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Not because he wanted recognition or anything, he would just say let me help you, "I saw you struggling with that." He wasn't married at that time; but he would say that he really wanted a family, wife and children. We started praying that God would bless him with a true, loving family of his own. We thank GOD that he did just that. He loved you Ruth, and his children and grandchildren very much. He was so happy when he talked about you and his family... the trips, the celebrations, family gatherings, the gifts his family shared. We was terribly happy when he told us about his church family and that he was a Deacon and how he enjoyed it so much. We just said LOOK AT GOD, he answers prayer. I know all of you will miss him terribly. His spirit has left his body, but God is still with you and loves you. God has given you all a "heart full of memories". When you feel lonely, sad, just need a touch, ask God to open up your Memory Chest so that you can choose a few to carry you over. God is always near day and night or anytime you need him. Love, Ron and Clara Waller

May Jehovah the God of all comfort be with the family during this difficult time. Psalms 83:18
  • Wednesday, May 29, 2019
I want to offer my condolences to the family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Even Jesus, when on earth, wept over the loss of a love one (John 11:33,35,38). Allow Our Heavenly Father to comfort you through the Scriptures__ 2 Corinthians 1: 3,4 “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God” It is comforting to know that He calls death an enemy and promised to remove it forever__ “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing” (1 Corinthians 15:26). He also promised to undo the effect of death by waking up all our love ones in the memorial tombs__ Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." I hope these words give all of you comfort.
