2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials." James 5:11; God "is very tender in affection ["very compassionate"] and merciful." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

The scripture @Ecclesiastes 9:5 states "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all." This comforting thought assures us that our loved ones are not suffering or are in any pain.

You have my deepest sympathies during this time. He was a very nice man. Bishop visited Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church in Reidsville, NC a lot when I was younger. My grandmother, Annie Mae Pinnix, who passed three years ago; loved to hear him preach and he enjoyed her singing. I wish you peace and blessings for the days ahead.
