Joseph and family, We were sorry to learn you have lost our ‘forever neighbor’ Carolyn. She always showed us love and expressed her love for all of you. I’ll miss her cute giggles. And when she would good-naturedly scold me if I didn’t listen correctly. So glad we had the chance to know her and drink some of her tea!

I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Carolyn Gray. Recently, I found comfort from the scriptures to cope with the grief of losing a loved one in death. The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We can pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. By prayer and supplication, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6 The bible also promises that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Revelation 21:4) How comforting and reassuring that is! May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God's kingdom. Local ministry volunteer https://www.jw.org/en/

God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Isaiah 41:13; I "am grasping your right hand, the One [God] saying to you,...'I will help you.'" Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

Thinking of you Joseph, Kim, Bob, and Dakota at this sad time. Memories are forever so let them be your spiritual strength now and in the days ahead. Carolyn was a wonderful woman and a wonderful friend who was loved by my entire family. Like you, I feel a deep loss. Though we lived far apart, she was with me every day, always there if I needed her. Rest in peace, Carolyn.

We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. Accept our sincere condolences. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
