My sincere condolences are with the Pride family during this time of sorrow. The passing of William is a painful experience, however, he have the hope of a resurrection. The Bible outlines this hope at John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. This hope occurred when our Heavenly Father Jehovah sent his son Jesus who ransomed his life for this hope to become a reality. Furthermore, our Heavenly Father recognize your loss and expressed these words of comfort to your family, at Psalms 34:18, “Jehovah is close to the broken hearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit”. So, at this time of grief James 4:8 says to you, “Draw close to God and he will draw close to you”because he will sustain and stregthen your family.

John 14:1-3 King James Version (KJV) 14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials." James 5:11; God "is very tender in affection ["very compassionate"] and merciful." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)
