It’s is with a sorrowful heart that our staff bow in humble submission

We would like to extend our prayers toward Pastor Bernard Leon Robinson Sr. and The Robinson Family, in the passing of his grandmother Mrs. Athenia Lee Miller - Robinson (96) of Miami, Florida.

Mrs. Athenia Lee Robinson, was born on January 1, 1923, in Newark , New Jersey, to Louvenia Miller. At the age of 10, Athenia moved in with family members due to the death of her mother.

At one point in life Athenia relocated to Douglas, Georgia with her grandparents where she met her future husband. Athenia was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Richard Robinson, Sr. and they raised seven children. Athenia worked as a domestic worker before becoming a Licensed Cosmetologist. It was a profession she loved and was very rewarding to her since she was the mother of five girls.

Having been raised in the church, Athenia knew God and as an adult, she accepted Him as her Lord and Savior. She served Him faithfully and evangelized throughout South Florida and Georgia. At the end of her traveling mission for the Lord due to her failing health, she joined Martin Memorial AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Anthony Reed, Sr. At the time of her passing, she was a member of St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Robert Brooks, Jr.

Athenia truly enjoyed being the apple of everyone's eye with her quick smile and her spirit that was always full of praise. Athenia had a long and blessed life and death nor the grave has the victory. Sleep in peace “Mrs. T.”, “Red”, “Mama”, “Grandma”. We Love You.

Athenia is linked again with her daughter, Dorothy Salmon; mother and son/caregiver, Arnold Butler, who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories; six children: Patricia Robinson, Edna LaCount (Elijah), Bessie Robinson, Richard Robinson, Jr., Johnnie Robinson (Meg) ,Marie Davis (Johnnye); a special grandson, who she raised as her own, Bernard Robinson, Sr. (Shanta); 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren; two special nieces, four nephews; caregivers: Cynthia and Cheyenne Stringer, Mackel Washington, and a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends.

I would like to express my sympathy to the family. I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that our loving Heavenly Father promises in His Word the Bible to remove pain, suffering, and death (Revelation 21:3,4 and Isaiah 25:8). Until that time, may you find comfort in this promise and treasure the special memories you shared.

Dear family, we all know the pain and emptiness of heart when the enemy death take those we love, no matter how old or young the pain is certainly great. Jesus Christ promised to call all those in the memorial tombs, they will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28,29) Time now to live our lives to show our Creator, we are grateful for his many blessings. (Psalm 24:5)

Dear Robinson Family Please except my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved one. The loss of a love one is never easy. But the Bible gives us hope and builds our FAITH in Almighty God when we read ( Revelation 21:4 John 5:28,29,30 ). May these scriptures bring comfort to the family during this time of grief.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to your family in the loss of your loved one, Mrs. Miller. Although Mrs. Miller might have lived a full life, it's nothing compared to the promise our loving Creator, Jehovah gives us. John 3:16 gives us the promise that God loved the world so much that He gave His only-begotten son. Because of this loving sacrifice, we have hope of seeing our loved ones again. Please visit www.jw.org for more encouraging information and scriptures.

Dear Family, Please accept my condolences regarding your cherished one. I know the sorrow you feel right now is like a day without sun. Pain from the death of a loved one causes an agonizing sting. We can’t concentrate, we’re paralyzed, and we can’t focus on anything. Seems like all is lost at the thought of never seeing them again. But, TAKE HEART! God’s Word, the Bible says, this is not the end! Acts 24:15 notes that there will be a resurrection. YES! Again—we’ll see those whom we’ve loved and regarded with tender affection! Revelation 21:4 tells us that death will be no more, And that we won’t cry or mourn as we’ve done before. So, my hope is that I’ve encouraged you through my words of condolence. Please visit JW.org for further reference. ~ Mela Fleurs

To the family and friends: please, accept our sincere condolences in your recent loss. May you find some comfort in the words of Psalms 34:18 which reads: " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit " Yes, we can ask for help and rely on God. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise.  (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). Be confident that this is SURE to happen because Isaiah 55:11 ensures us of this.
