Mr. Archie C. Griffith, 58, of Prentiss, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his residence.  He is the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Griffith.  He was a member of Harmony M. B. Church.  

He was a retired welder from Georgia Pacific and served in the National Guard.  He enjoyed gardening and fellowship with family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Olive, Mississippi at 11am.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by: daughter, Arcayla Griffith of Columbia, SC; granddaughters, Layla and La'Deja of Columbia, SC; brother, John W. Griffith of Purvis, MS; sisters, Jeneava Phillips and Mary Young both of Purvis, MS; Annie Wells of Pasadena, CA; Stella Griffith of Hattiesburg, MS; Louvella Haynes of Taylorsville, MS; Wynella White and Harolyn Brown both of Prentiss,MS;   

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the church, 9-11am.
