Mrs. Martha Jean Daggan, 77, of Prentiss, Mississippi passed away on Monday, April 3, 2019 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital.  She is the daughter of the late Jake and Peggy Gray Watts.  She was a member of Mt. Zion M. B. Church where she served in the choir, usher board, senior Mission and the Mother Mary of the Palace of Children.  Mrs. Daggan was a member of NAACP, AARP-Prentiss, and Senior Citizens Center, Prentiss site.

Mrs. Daggan retired in Housekeeping from Jefferson Davis Community Hospital.  She was a Seamstress and Beautician who enjoyed fellowship with family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Mt. Zion M. B. Church at 2pm.  Interment will be in Griffith Cemetery Prentiss, MS.

She is survived by: son, Lonnie Bass of Carson, MS; daughters, Tangelia Reese and Terry Knight both of Prentiss, MS; Tracey Fairley of Carson, MS; brothers, Larry Watts of Moss Point, MS and Harry Watts of Prentiss, MS; sisters, Shirley Graves of Bassfield, MS, Carolyn Hathorne, Delois Berkhalter and Lee Price all of Prentiss, MS; Mary Watts of Orlando, FL; grandchildren: 15; great-grandchildren: 13.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-8pm and Saturday at the church, 1-2pm.
