My thoughts are with you and the family and how death robs us of our loved ones. Jehovah God has promised to remove death, sickness, and pain from the earth and reunite us with our loved one on a cleansed earth in the future. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29; John 17:3; Psalms 83:18)  In the meantime you can be sure that God understands how you feel now! The Bible assures us: "He is healing the brokenhearted ones, And is binding up there painful spots." Psalms 147:3 (Website for more encouragement.)

May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about her and bring her back again. God is the Creator of life. The Bible calls Jehovah God " the source of life." (Psalm 36:9 ; Acts 17:24,25) The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. We are saddened to know you are grieving the recent loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in the words found in Psalms 34:18 which reads: “ Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15 Isaiah 55;11). See and imagine yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

I am sorry to hear about Bettys passing. I remember her with great fondness and the great times we had as young people in Macedonia. The qualities I most admired in here was her alway ready smile ad her love and devotion for her family. After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, you will have the happy memories that all of you shared with your her. This is what keeps them alive in your hearts and minds, and they will continue to live on, through all of you. I know that your family has a strong belief in God. Remember that based on the bible death is an enemy and God did not organically intend for humans to die. Unfortunately, the first humans, Adam and Eve, lost their lives because they sinned against God. (Genesis 3:17-19) Death was the only possible outcome of their rebellion against God, for with him is “the source of life.”—Psalm 36:9; Genesis 2:17. Kind words and thoughtful flowers can bring a measure of comfort to the family when the heart is overcome with sorrow. However, the comfort that Jehovah God (Psalms 83-18) gives is lasting and brings lasting comfort because He describes himself as the God of all comfort and the Father of tender mercies who delivers us through all our (your trials). He designed the human family and knows how each member brings joy and happiness to the family unit. Death is an enemy and can rob us of that joy. When his son Jesus was on the earth he demonstrated how God will soon do away with this enemy death when he resurrected his friend, Lazarus. At hearing and seeing the pain and heartache of the Lazarus sisters, Mary and Martha, Jesus himself was overcome with emotions and gave away to heartfelt tears. He prayed to his father and called out to Lazarus to come out! Lazarus was soon in the arms of his family once again! (John 11:33-35) At John 5:28-29 Jesus said, "do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will come out." Yes you will see your loved one again! Your parents will have the prospect of regaining their youthful vigor and her flesh will forever remain fresher than in youth." (Job 33:24-25) So remember the good times, the times of joy, laughter, the good meals she cooked the time she spent with you and the hugs she gave you. And always keep in the forefront of you mind that God has promised the hope of the resurrection and with that you have the hope of once again seeing Betty under much better circumstances as stated in Rev: 21. 3-4 My prayers and thoughts are with you. You have precious memories to hold in your heart. Give GOD thanks in everything, keep your eyes on HIS face. The battle is HIS, the victory is HIS and HE will help you win lifes race. 1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
