Izeal Willis, Sr., favorably known as “Tootie,” 84, of Spuds, FL was born October 11, 1934 to Isaac Willis and Eliza Miles. On Sunday, March 17, 2019 our community sadly lost a pillar, when Izeal passed away. Early on as a young man, he developed the "I can, I will” of determination and perseverance as he made a living as a farm labor contractor. For over 50 years, Izeal employed thousands of men and women along the eastern seaboard, from Florida to New York. He provided these individuals with shelter, meals, and an opportunity for them to provide for their families. He was more than a contractor, or just " The Bossman,” he was EVERYTHING. Izeal instilled leadership and business skills in his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing cards, chess, checkers, dominoes, working on his equipment and sharing good old laughs and pure love with family and friends. He was known nationally, and was a pioneer of his time. His legacy continues, and the values he shared lives on through his bloodline. He will be forever loved.
