Lloyd Clarence Douglas, 61, of Hastings was born February 13, 1958 to the late Henry Douglas, Jr. and Louise Douglas in Palatka, FL. Lloyd attended Walter E. Harris High School, and was a member of the graduating class of 1975. He joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church on Federal Point, under the leadership of the late Pastor Johnnie R. Butts., and until his passing, Lloyd served under the current pastoral leadership of Pastor Throdore McRae. Lloyd’s employment included Remi Wesnofsk in Rich Hampton New York and seasonal farm work in Hastings, Florida. Often called the “Yardman” around the neighborhood, Lloyd loved fishing, handy work and landscaping.
