To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. During this sad time, please know that our Heavenly Father assures us of his loving support in times of grief, and he promises to end the pain of death forever (Psalm 34:18 and Revelation 21:3,4). In the days to come, may these verses provide encouragement and hope for your family. For more comforting thoughts, please visit jw.org. Take care.

God cares for those with a broken heart; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Isaiah 12:2 assures us that God is our strength and our might. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)
