Please take comfort in the knowledge that God hates death, and promises to eliminate it forever. “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”—1 Corinthians 15:26. Your loved one can live again thru the resurrection - Job 14:14,15. Find further encouragement in the article www.jw.org/is-death-the-end/

Dear Griffin family, I am saddened to learn that you’re mourning the loss of your dear love one. It saddens our God even more. No doubt, you have many fond memories that will resurface from time to time. And because you have memories, there's no doubt that Almighty God has memories as well. Therefore, with full confidence you can take comfort in knowing that he longs to restore perfect life to all those who are safely locked in his loving memory. (Job 14:13-15; John 5:28,29) Please accept my condolences at this most distressing time.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
